Our service integrates ChatGPT with Readwise, allowing users to interact with their Readwise data through ChatGPT's interface. We use Google authentication to securely link your Readwise API key with your account.

2. Information We Collect

  • Google account information (for authentication only)
  • Your Readwise API key

We do not store any of your Readwise data. All data from Readwise API calls is passed directly to ChatGPT and is not persisted on our servers or used for model training.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Google authentication is used solely to provide secure access to your account
  • Your Readwise API key is used to facilitate communication between ChatGPT and Readwise services
  • API calls are proxied through our service to Readwise and the responses are forwarded to ChatGPT

4. Data Flow

When you interact with our service:

  1. Your request is sent to ChatGPT
  2. If Readwise data is needed, we make API calls to Readwise using your stored API key
  3. The Readwise data is sent to ChatGPT for processing
  4. ChatGPT's response is returned to you
  5. No data from these interactions is stored on our servers

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

  • Your API key is encrypted when stored
  • Each API key is strictly linked to a single Google account
  • Access to stored data is strictly limited
  • We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transfers

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your API key or any of your data with third parties. Data is only passed between Readwise's API and ChatGPT as needed to provide the service functionality.

7. Data Retention

We only store your Google authentication details and Readwise API key. Your API key is stored only for as long as you use our service. You can delete your API key at any time through the application interface.
